About Jet Harbor

Ft. Lauderdale Location

Jet Harbor, Incorporated was founded in 1983 by Damian H. and Mary A. Weber.  The company obtained its FAA Certified Repair Station Certificate in 1984.  Joined by their sons, Damian Junior in 1986 and Jeremy in 1994, Jet Harbor, Inc. became a family experience.

The growing Corporation moved into its present 24,000 square foot Ft Lauderdale facility in June of 2001.  Shortly thereafter, they opened their second location at the Sumner County Regional Airport (M33) in Gallatin, Tennessee in 2002.

Other Jet Harbor, Inc. Accomplishments:

• In 1991 and 1992 we installed more Cockpit Voice Recorders than any other facility in Florida.
• In 1993 we installed a side-facing reconnaissance camera in the pressure vessel of an airplane belonging to a foreign government.  We had to obtain permission and a license from the U.S. State Department to complete this project.
• From 1995 thru 1997 we applied for and received four different STC’s from the FAA — two on the Learjet and two on the Sabreliner.
• In 1999, we added the Raytheon Hawker model of aircraft to our Repair Station Certificate.

Gallatin, Location

Jet Harbor, Inc. took over the FBO facility in Gallatin, Tennessee on September 1, 2002.  The parent company remained in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida at the FXE Airport.

The 5,000 foot runway at Gallatin has a 1,000 foot grass overrun which can support a wide range of aircraft.  The Sumner County Regional Airport Authority has a lease arrangement with Jet Harbor, Inc.

The owners, Damian and Mary, have been able to succeed in this very tough business by treating all customers the way they want to be treated.  They have brought this attitude to Sumner County in the hopes of making not only customers, but friends as well.

Jet Harbor employs 10 full-time employees in Gallatin.  We can provide many services for visiting aircraft including refueling and repairs.  Our staff can also assist visitors with hotel and rental car arrangements in the local area.  Learn more about our Gallatin FBO.
